My name is Jon Stewart and I’m currently Vice President of Product strategy at Primacy, in charge of CMS and cloud product development. My focus and passion is customer experience design, technical architecture and technical strategy. In a nutshell, I design experiences for my clients and I use technology to enable those experiences. I also spend a lot of time working hands-on with clients and their content, to help bring it to life in the tools we design and build.
We as digital professionals develop strategies, roadmaps and build beautiful experiences for clients. However, if the backend customer experience and technology implementation is not as usable as the user experience design and creative, the strategic imperatives will never fully come to life and the project ultimately fails. It’s my job to make sure technology and the customer experience that comes with it are my clients’ greatest tools to scale their digital ecosystem, rather than a point of frustration. Through user and customer experience design, persona and journey map development, usability testing, gap analysis, business, functional and technology experience requirements as well as detailed and agile training with feedback loops built it, my process and deliverables yield best-in-class products and happy clients.
Currently, I am leading an effort with Primacy as Product owner for the UX design, research, strategic vision and new business efforts for the creation of ZenSource. This an open source content management built on a Drupal framework where we have taken strides to right-size content management. The platform is cloud hosted and contains the development of a frictionless customer interface built by content authors for content authors, rich features built on top of Drupal included automated qa and ada testing, an Amazon integrated chatbot assistant and personalization. During this effort, I developed the strategic roadmap with stakeholders as well as product and technical requirements, user experience design and worked with creative to develop the brand and messaging. Currently I am working to evolve the platform for current clients and pitch to prospects. As the product strategy lead, I am actively involved in developing our new business strategy all the way through, design, implementation and support.

Developed ZenSource CMS as well as AWS Cloud platform and used these products to drive a new tech product multi-million dollar revenue stream within Primacy. Product revenue has increased 300% year over year since 2018 based an organic go-to-market strategy.

Service offering development
In addition to client work, I’m also developing the following service offerings for Primacy.
Building the Product Experience Department - four years ago I started this department to improve our User Experience, Design and technology offerings by changing the way we approach large-scale client work. While in this role, I have developed project documentation and instituted a methodology for both internal team and client consumption for business, functional and customer experience specs as well as client technology training, feedback and release iteration. As a result, our client NPS scores related to satisfaction in the end product have risen and internal as well as client teams are working more efficiently and continuing to evolve the end products into the ecosystems our strategies set out to scale. This department has also generated millions of dollars in new revenue.
Emerging Technology - While evolving how we work with existing technologies is the biggest part of my job, I’m also looking for new ways to integrate for what’s next. Specifically, I’m working on integrating artificial intelligence with our tools. For example, augmenting site search tools to query based on user intent and conversational commands. I’m currently prototyping with Amazon Lex to develop search tools that self-train and improve with user search data as well as let customers manually train and improve search on the fly. Additionally, I’m developing a customer admin interface that uses machine learning to draw connections and make recommendations for where to point search results.
